Locksbrook Campus Community Needlepoint

A collaborative project with Chloe Savage for her Emerge residency at Bath Spa University. Originally created for Heritage Days 2025, this large‑scale needlepoint invites anyone to sit down, add a few stitches, and help build a permanent artwork for the university.

I translated a photograph of the Locksbrook campus into a full needlepoint template, printed on 14‑count Zweigart canvas and stitched with Appletons tapestry wool. I’m involved not only as the designer but also as one of the stitchers, contributing to the piece as it grows. The project is still ongoing — slowly taking shape through the shared work of students, staff, visitors, and local makers.
